Craig's Philosophy

Craig’s recognizes golfers have different aspirations and times for their golf games. Craig’s understanding of what it takes to improve has led to him adopting an approach that prefers long-term coaching relationships.

His programs involve regular assessments, measurable goals, and instruction designed for each specific golfer’s goals and abilities.

Programs are divided into two categories: Golf Skill Training or Golf Coaching.

Skill Training

Skill Building programs focus on a specific skill that will make the most significant difference in a student’s game.

  • Solid Contact – When the consistency of contact needs to be improved.  Improved contact leads to better directional control and more distance.
  • Shot Direction– When the student’s golf shots don’t consistently finish close enough to the target to allow for the desired scoring.
  • More Distance– You guessed it when the ball needs to fly farther.

Coaching Programs

Coaching Programs are either half or full-year programs that provide complete game instruction including:

  • The Full Swing
  • Short Game
  • Fitness and Nutrition
  • Equipment
  • Mental Game
  • Course Management

The Process

Step 1 – Skills Analysis

The start of any improvement plan needs to be a clear and comprehensive assessment of a player’s existing competencies.  Craig’s Skill Analysis is used to collect data about a player’s clubs, swing, short game, and fitness levels.  Once received, the findings allow Craig to offer professional advice on the most effective approach to improvement.

Craig will use the following:

  • Launch monitors to gather your club and ball data
  • Sportsbox AI to collect 3D data on your swing motion
  • A short game assessment to find areas of improvement from 60 yards and in
  • Club analysis to understand how your equipment is affecting your game

Step 2 – Make a Plan

Armed with all of the above information, you and Craig can sit down and make a plan for what your key goals will be and the best way to reach them in the shortest time possible. You will either be best suited for a Skill Training or Coaching Program, and Craig will tailor your program to fit your exact needs.

Step 3 – The Fun Part

It’s now time to put the plan into motion.

Step 4 – The Re-Assessment

After you complete your program, you will be tested again to see how your results compare to your goals.

Step 5 – 100% Guarantee

If you do not reach your goals, Craig will continue
working with you for free until you do!
